Mental Health Foundation Respaldo Presents the 2030 Aspiration and New Logo

Last Tuesday evening, Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes was present at the Mental Health Foundation Aruba, Respaldo, for the presentation of the 2030 Aspiration and the unveiling of the foundation's new logo. Respaldo is a foundation that, since 2017, has dedicated its efforts to helping the community in the crucial area of mental health.


The Prime Minister expressed that those present received a presentation and an explanation of the aspirations and the new logo. Respaldo also presented a video that offered a glimpse into the vision that Respaldo has for the future, which is a vision of an organization that continues to develop itself to become more specialized, professional, and sustainable, with a clear direction towards a mentally healthy Aruba.


Aspiration 2030 is a plan that not only prioritizes the need for good service and quality treatment but also emphasizes the importance of sustainability and inclusivity in mental health care. The Prime Minister expressed that the commitment they witnessed to work together, guided by the values that strengthen our community, is a reason for the community as a whole to be proud of an organization like Respaldo here in Aruba. Because a mentally healthy people is the foundation for a healthy and prosperous society.


"I would like to congratulate Respaldo on the significant step they have taken in launching Aspiration 2030 and the new logo. The new logo symbolizes a new chapter, a new commitment to serving our people with love and dedication. Respaldo is an organization with the goal of ensuring that every citizen of Aruba who has the need can receive the support and care they require to become the best version of themselves. And for this, I want to express my deep appreciation for the difficult and important work that the entire Respaldo team is doing, and I wish them much success in the future.


Let’s continue building an Aruba where each one of us can be proud of it, where each one of us can feel ready to face any challenge ahead of us," the Prime Minister concluded.
