The Government of Aruba Giving Recognition to the U15 Girls Selection that Achieved the Highest Title in the CONCACAF Tournament

On Saturday morning, Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes accompanied Minister of Sports Endy Croes to give recognition to the girls of the U15 Selection who achieved the highest title in the CONCACAF Tournament held in Aruba. Present at the Bestuurskantoor were the parents, families, and friends, as well as the president, Mr. Randolf Lacle, and representatives of the Aruba Football Federation (AVB).

The girls were called one by one to come forward, where they walked on the red carpet to receive their recognition. On behalf of the Government of Aruba, they received a 4D Medal, and from the AVB, they also received a beautiful gift. The Prime Minister expressed that this morning was certainly a moment of pride and joy, not only for the winning girls but for the entire island of Aruba, which lived through every moment with them during the games.

During her speech, the Prime Minister addressed the girls with immense pride, stating that what they achieved by winning the championship title is not just a title but a demonstration that the girls of Aruba can excel in football if they simply set their minds to it.

"I am grateful to every parent and family member who has always supported each of these brave girls. It is thanks to their sacrifices that these girls are so successful today. A big thank you to the coaches for their dedication in training the girls, to the Aruba Football Federation (AVB), and to all those who made this possible.

Finally, I would like to thank Minister of Sports Endy Croes, who has put his heart into making sports great in Aruba. Despite the heavy responsibility of education, he has managed to give due attention to sports. Thanks to his work and the investments made in the stadium, FIFA allowed these games to take place in Aruba, and the entire community was able to enjoy this championship right here in Aruba. I am extremely proud to be part of the Wever-Croes Cabinet, which works with heart and achieves great things for sports. Congratulations to all our girls," the Prime Minister expressed.
